April 6th, 2012 From the Lebanese Bakery on the north side of the city, today’s was….grape leaves I believe? You would think the sour taste would be overpowering, but the pita balances it out wonderfully! These aren’t the crappy dry pita breads you get from the Megamart, that’s for sure, so nice and soft and flavorful! Too bad its the last one… :/
April 2nd, 2012 So much for the “no more limited DD” and “no more 2nd hand DD”. I got Nimii Haruka that I lost the Volks lottery twice on, and NEARLY just about got Sakuya as well. Spending too much money this year….more than the last 4 years put together in fact :/ 1000$ on a new computer in January, 1300$ for the plane ticket in February, 900$ for most of the hotels for my May vacation and 1000$ for Haruka, and $300 Volks orders, and 100$ Taobao wig order in march, a few outfits for Feena, a stand, various other shit like eating out on the occasion…it all adds up :/ Have a Haruka, and a good day. Assuming I can even get most of my other orders, April will hopefully be a lot better than March was (which was pretty goddamn lousy).

The second batch of hands arrived yesterday, this time from Volks International rather than the USA site because they didn’t get restocked ~_~… And with EMS shipping rather than…well, you know, the unmentionable. I was thinking Feena might look a bit silly with the DDH-09 option hands, but its really not so bad!
Now Feena can actually hang onto that sword! Though I was a bit worried she’d tip forward and jab my camera or my hand, but she didn’t. March 16th, 2012 Finally got my first VolksUSA order (and my last order using UPS, fuck you for charging 60+$ brokerage fees…that was like 25% of the order you pricks), which included 3 new pairs of hands for Kud and a pair for Feena! Also I ended up buying some wig styling mist and wig shampoo/conditioner to fix up Feena’s wig, it was getting a bit ratty and tangled from how much I play around with her. Obviously if you don’t know what large title game came out this week, you don’t play games, even Kud was eagerly awaiting being able to play….  Uh oh, Kud already got her hands on it.... February 23rd, 2012 I do want to see this movie, even if its already based on the game. It still looks like it will be some combination of awesome, cheesy and hilarious, but I do think they picked someone who can pull off the look. It was out in Japanese theaters a little while ago, as well as a film festival with subtitles, so we can only hope that it gets picked up by subtitles or a license. Either way, I’m excited to see it (amazing I know, I’m rarely excited to see a movie)! PS. The original video has subtitles, I don’t know why its not showing up in here (maybe cause I’m using jwplayer for consistency), just open the youtube page if you need the subtitles, though if you’ve played the game you probably don’t really need them. I recently recovered one of my swiped TY Beanie Babies I had from years ago from my brother (he used to take a lot of my things for no apparantly good reason). And so I decided to give him to Feena as a pet! His name is Rocket the Blue Jay. Enjoy the photos! February 3rd, 2012
First OSTER 2 weeks ago, now the Baguettes Ensemble, having a live this weekend, this time without even airing it on nicovideo. What event do I miss next? Why do I even ask the question? its my lot in life after all. But hey, it COULD be worse I suppose…I could be in some other shitty country, though Harper is trying his darnedest to make us feel like we should be in another country some days. P.S. I do have the livestreamed OSTER project concert from nicovideo if anyone REALLY wants me to upload it somewhere….but I probably will be spared the trouble since nobody looks at this blog ANYWAY. January 31st, 2012 To say anything would be to digress, just watch the awesomeness! I may not have been a huge fan of Wind Waker’s cel-shading style, but damn, for something fanmade, this guy better be getting job offers by the score now.
